How THUMPER Works:
THUMPER is a hydraulic post driver that allows a weight to fall a maximum of 4 feet. With a 1000lb weight, the THUMPER can drive a line post in 2 minutes or less. There is little or no tamping, saving you time and money. With the US patented cylinder system, the THUMPER can literally push a steel post in the ground with no pounding at all! That is what separates the THUMPER from other post drivers. The weight can vary depending on the machine you choose to use or the size of the post you need to drive. And there is no need to sharpen the ends of your post! The THUMPER can drive virtually anything from line post, pipe, highway pilings or sign post. And yes, it can even drive a railroad tie!
The US patented THUMPER is unique in that there is no need for a third valve. The main top cylinder acts as the reservoir, so there is no need for extra hosing when using the THUMPER. The THUMPER also has a built in cushion designed to absorb the weight’s impact at the end of the stroke to protect the cylinder. With this built-in cushion design, THUMPER is virtually indestructible. There are no springs, bearings, rollers, or cables to wear out, saving you valuable down-time.

 The THUMPER hydraulic post driver has a universal quick attach back plate which allows the driver to be mounted to almost any machine. The THUMPER post driver features an all-hydraulic system for effortless adjustment. It is not necessary to move your machine to get perfect alignment to the post. Two hydraulic cylinders give THUMPER its left or right movement and level your post in any kind of terrain or slope.
